As an old engineer, totally ignorant in climate sciences, I was investigating an engineering problem that included
a statement on ‘Global Warming’ that led to my seeking a clear definition.
The result of initial, innocent investigation led through:
“That’s strange, but the scientists must have properly researched the matter and proved these statements to be
correct. What is the basis of these frightening statements?”
to
“These statements are only complex computer modelling outputs without any experimental proof support.
Why are they being presented as scientific fact?”
to
“What is the IPCC and what is its origin ? What is the real constituency of committees that prepare these
IPCC Reports? Who is Maurice Strong, this Al Gore mentor ? Are there authoritative contrary opinions ?”
to
“There is something very wrong here. Why are these intelligent people of high repute promoting disturbing and
potentially destabilising concepts as scientific fact when even superficial investigation reveals them to be
scientifically baseless and when there are scientists of good standing who strongly disagree with the
IPCC unproven opinions?”
The result for me has been a conversion from a casually interested observer, who had naively assumed that scientists
held truth above expediency, to a dedicated Global Warming – Climate Change Sceptic; continuing to ask
“There must be another reason for such aggressive behaviour by the promoters of ‘Alarmist’concepts such as the ETS / CPRS.
Why is it so?”

Why an Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS)
We have had a number of persuasive Global Warming Conspiracy Theory suggestions such as The new world devised
by Maurice Strong and George Soros by Judi McLeod in November 2008, but at last, we have a clear explanation of
“Why is it so ?” revealed through the publication of the UN IPCC Draft Climate Change Treaty;
the acceptance and implementing of which is the objective of the forthcoming IPCC Conference in Copenhagen

This is a frightening situation which has the potential to hand effective control of our country to the
bureaucrats of this unelected UN World Government and we, the ordinary Australian people, have not had these
hazards pointed out to us by the main media or our elected representatives who appear to support, at least in
principle, the acceptance and implementation of the UN IPCC Climate Change Treaty. Please consider the above and,
assuming that you agree that it should be totally rejected, express your opposition both verbally and in writing
to those who are supposed to be protecting our interests, as a matter of urgency.
